The Verisk + Plnar integration allows adjusters and restoration contractors to quickly estimate repair costs. With this new integration, Plnar's 3D diagrams/digital sketches, photos, and property measurement reports automatically flow from Plnar to XactAnalysis & Xactimate.

The Import Icon

Once you see the notification in Xactimate that measurements are ready to import, you will open the claim, navigate to the Estimate tab > Sketch tab. You should see the following yellow "import" icon at the top left of the canvas:

Clicking this icon will bring up a box asking you to Import the Plnar data into Xact.


What if the Import Icon is missing?

Issue: You received a notification stating that Plnar measurements are ready to import, but the icon is not showing in the upper left corner of the sketch window:

Doublecheck that you're in the 2D view rather than the 3D view. In the bottom right corner, there are two icons: one is the 2D icon and the other is the 3D icon.

  • Click the 2D icon (to the left of the darker, 3D icon):

  • If the view changes from 3D to 2D and the import icon still does not appear, give these next solutions a try:

(X1/XOR Version)

  • 1st: Sync Xactimate:

    • Click the sync icon in the upper right corner of Xactimate

    • Try to import the data again

  • 2nd: Send the claim to the Cloud then back to your Local

    • Click “save and exit” on the project:

    • Ensure the project is still highlighted on the Local Projects page and click the cloud (up arrow) icon to "send to cloud"

  • Then navigate to the Cloud tab in the left hand menu

    • Find and Select the claim by clicking on the check box again, then on the right side menu (light blue ribbon), click the cloud (down arrow) to bring it back to your Local.

  • Back on your Local projects page, open the claim and navigate to the Estimate tab > Sketch tab, and click the yellow Import button from the top left of the canvas. The "Import Selection" box will appear allowing you to import the diagram. Click Import:
